I've always been a huge fan of hte guitar, but never had the time to focus on learning it. One day when I wnet through a really bad relationship breakup, I found myself with more time and wanting to focus on learning this great instrument.

Now that I'm at an intermediate level with my guitar skills, I've got to say that my life is much improved - I regularly gig with two groups that each love the same types of music I do, and playing guitar has helped me get active in many parts of my life again. Although I never meant to take it this far, I'm back to doing what I love in life again, and through the club scene have actually started dating again - this time someone who's as interested in music as I am :)

When I was first looking at the Jamorama Guitar Lesson system, I was anxious about buying it. I always have apprehension about buying anything on the internet, because it has a reputation for not always having the best products. I've purchased clickbank products before, and on the occasional time when I've had to do a return, never had any hassle with it whatsoever.

I started out with Jamorama's guitar lesson package and set a certain amount of time every day to work with it. I have to say that overall, the system works - it just takes a bit of time and practice like everything else to ensure that you're putting in the time to make it work for you.

The package comes with a number of books, and 148 video lessons and exercises, a year's worth of lessons, and a number of Jam tracks. I found that the videos were very helpful - you can't find good information like that at the bookstore or on a dvd - on its own I'd say that the videos were easily worth the cost of the package.
So once I had some time set aside each day, I was able to pick up the process pretty easily. At first there's a little bit of getting used to the guitar, however once you've picked up the basics, I found that it was quite easy to maneuver around the instrument. There were a number of times when I fumbled or had a setback, however the way the lessons are constructed, I was able to go back a few steps and recover with very little trouble.

These days I'd say I'm an intermediate level guitar player. It took a lot of work to get there, but I'm at the point where I regularly go to clubs and play with some of the guys. For me personally, I've made it further through this system than any other book or program that I've tried before - it's kept me focused a good part of the way.

The next step for me will be to focus on the advanced lessons. I'm not at the level to judge their usefulness, however I have a few friends who are much better than me that tried them out, and liked them so much that the bought the Jamorama guitar lesson system as well!

The Jamorama guitar lesson has been great for building my skills as a guitar player. It's helped me with building the skill, and has made it a hobby that I really enjoy!
