Brad Pitt's Greatest Performances In Years Past

By Tyler Jackson

One of the most iconic and likable actors in Hollywood today is Brad Pitt. It is not all too often that you meet someone who doesn't like Brad Pitt. I mean, aside from the whole Jennifer Aniston fiasco, he seems like a really good guy. It also doesn't hurt that most of his movies are well selected.

This article will discuss my favorite Brad Pitt movies of all time.

The first movie I will mention is the movie that almost nabbed him his first Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. That film was of course, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. I thought he did an incredible job in this peculiar life story.

One movie that has to be mentioned when discussing Brad Pitt films is Se7en. Pitt stars as up and coming detective David Mills on the hunt of a twisted yet brilliant serial killer who chooses his victims based on the seven deadly sins.

If you have yet to see Seven Years In Tibet, you are missing out big time. This is one of Brad Pitt's earlier films, however it remains one of my favorites to this day. This movie is based on the incredible true story of an Austrian mountain climber who befriends the Dalai Lama during the takeover of Tibet by China.

One amazing movie that I want to mention is True Romance. Pitt was hardly the focal point in this Quentin Tarantino-written film; he played a stoner who never leaves the couch. But this still manages to be one of my favorite roles of his.

One other great movie starring Brad Pitt is Ocean's Eleven. It is tough to have a bad movie when the cast is as stacked as this first installment in the Danny Ocean franchise. Other notables in this film include George Clooney, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts and Casey Affleck.

As it stands, this is my Brad Pitt film list, but I have no doubts that there will be others to consider in the next few years. The man only chooses the best of roles.
