Leonardo DiCaprio's Most Impressive Acting Performances In Years Past

By Daniel Arthur

Where do we begin with listing Leonardo DiCaprio's best movies of all time. Ever since Titanic was released, the man has had his pick of the litter when it comes to choosing movie roles. Maybe that helps to explain why most of his movies are at the very least, enjoyable if not amazing.

Let's discuss some of Leonardo DiCaprio's best movies up to this point in his career.

The first movie I would like to mention is Titanic. While it is certainly not my favorite movie of his by any means, you have to give credit where credit is due. This is the second highest grossing film of all time.

One incredible movie in which Leonardo DiCaprio starred is Catch Me If You Can. In this Steven Spielberg directed chase film inspired by a true story, Leo plays the incredibly "resourceful" (for lack of a better word) Frank Abagnale.

Another great film that stars Leo is Blood Diamond. Make no mistake, this is not an easy movie to get through. I had trouble getting through the first scene of the movie, which rivals Saving Private Ryan's bloodiness. A great movie nonetheless.

I would hate to make a list of Leonardo DiCaprio movies without including Inception. Simply put, this movie is absolutely awesome. If you like films that make you think and are based on original ideas that will have you questioning scenes weeks after you view it, Inception is for you.

Finally, the last film that I will include on this list is The Departed. This is a cat and mouse film based off a Japanese movie and with Scorcese as director, it was destined to win Best Picture of the Year.

These are just some of Leo's best films thus far. I just looked up his iMDB page and it appears he has a whopping 22 films in the making! So don't be surprised if you see another article of this sort soon with even better films of his.
